Man, when I say lefties must pretend not to know things, I mean it, but...

...sometimes I can't believe how easy it is.

Dude, we had months of nationwide left-wing riots aided and abetted by the media and left-wing politicians. The outcome of that was the understanding that the left in this country can do whatever the hell it wants -- cops won't stop them, courts won't stop them, the makers of public opinion won't stop them and anyone who defends themselves against them will be prosecuted if they're not first injured of killed by the mob itself. There are protests going right now DURING JURY DELIBERATIONS in front of the courthouse. Plus, these jurors are deciding the fate of a kid brought up by a corrupt prosecutor on charges of DEFENDING HIMSELF from these very leftist mobs. Do you think they don't understand the stakes?

This situation is in no way similar to any of the events you list above, although I do agree with you that the judge and defense attorneys will face the same dangers as the jurors if there is an acquittal, but at least they signed up for and are getting paid for their roles in this trial unlike these hapless jurors.
